Kenneth Jones
Ken Jones has enjoyed a long and successful senior management career in the NHS and Local Authority Social Services in both inner city urban areas and rural locations in the West Midlands and Wales.
Since retiring in 2000, Ken spent several years as the full time carer of his disabled wife and has a strong interest in the needs of carers. He has shared the care of his wife with his daughter since 2002 and this has allowed him to serve as carer member of Carmarthenshire Local Health Board from 2003-06 culminating in his appointment as Chair of the LHB in 2006.

Martin Lewis
Martin Lewis is a Carer of a Classically Autistic Son for over 20 years. Through the years of Caring and Advocating for appropriate Autistic Services. Martin, with others, has created appropriate Autism specific educational and Social services. Martin has been privileged to be Secretary of Gwent Autistic Society for eight years and a member of its Executive Committee, during the 1990’s.
Currently Martin is a volunteer driver with Phoenix Community Transport within Caerphilly County Borough Council. Martin is an Asperger Syndrome individual (a description of an Autistic individual, within the Continuum of Autism).

Pauline Jones
Pauline is married with three children and lives in Talbot Green, Rhondda Cynon Taff.
Pauline spent most of her early career as a Manager of Design Centre Wales in Cardiff, which involved responsibility for a rolling programme of themed exhibitions both in Design Centre Wales and at venues throughout Wales.
After the birth of her disabled daughter Pauline gave up working to take on the role of full time carer. During this time she volunteered on a number of projects, which included the setting up of the Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre in Cardiff, Chair of a parent/carer support group called Friday’s Child and a member of the ‘Homes fit for Children’ campaign. Pauline is also Chair of Rhondda Cynon Taff Parent/Carer Support Group, which was set up to support and provide information for parents and carers of disabled children and young people.
