Brian West

Brian is a co-founding Director of Hebron Hall Christian Centre, a registered charity which has been involved in assisting Bethel House Residential Care Home for which Brian is currently the responsible individual. Brian’s role within Care Forum Wales Council has led to special responsibility for Social Care Workforce Strategy which will require developing the on-going partnership between Care Forum Wales and the Care Council for Wales.
Brian is an active member of the South East Wales Social Care in Partnership and the Social Care Workforce Development Partnership for both the Vale of Glamorgan and Bridgend County Borough Councils. Brian also serves as chairman for the Vale of Glamorgan Care Home Association and a co-opted member of the Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern.

Ellis Williams
Statutory Sector Employer
Ellis is the Group Director (Community and Children’s Services) at Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, a post which incorporates the role of Statutory Director of Social Services at the Council. Ellis is RCT’s Lead Director for Children’s Services and chairs the Local Safeguarding Children’s Board, Youth Offending Service Board and Children & Young People’s Partnership in the Borough.
Ellis’s career in Social Services has taken him to Northamptonshire, South Glamorgan, Cardiff and Plymouth before becoming Chief Social Services Officer in Newport in February 2001. He joined Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC in January 2007 in his current role.
Ellis is Lead Director for the ADSS Cymru Workforce Policy Group, is the ADSS Cymru representative on the WAG Direct Payments Advisory group and ADSS link with All Wales Direct Payments Group. He sits on the Social Care in Partnership (South East) Strategic Leadership Group and chairs the SCIP(SE) Social Work Training Sub-Group. He is ADSS Cymru’s representative on the Deputy Minister’s Task Group on the Social Care and Social Work workforce.
