Ian Davies
Ian Davies was appointed in March 2009 as a Member of the Care Council for Wales by the Welsh Assembly Government to serve a four-year term, representing the perspective of service users.
Previously, he was a Service User Board Member with the Conwy and Denbighshire Adult Mental Health and Social Care Partnership. Ian continues to be a representative on the group's pool of service users and carers.
A former print and broadcast journalist, he has been a mental health activist for many years and has now widened his remit to cover social care.

Penny Gripper
Penny Gripper is a service user representative on local committees in the Carmarthenshire area. She is also active in local planning groups. She was, in the past, a member of a regulatory body and served on its education, finance and general purposes and professional support staff committees.
