Active orders

Active orders are Interim Suspension Orders and Interim Conditions of Practice Orders. These Orders are imposed by an Investigating Committee under Conduct Rules 2011.

Interim Suspension Orders

Interim Suspension Orders suspend a registrant from the Register for a set period of time whilst investigations are undertaken into allegations of misconduct that have not yet been found proven.

Interim Conditions of Practice Orders

Interim Conditions of Practice Orders, imposed by Investigating Committees, place conditions on a registrant’s registration for a set period of time whilst investigations are undertaken into allegations of misconduct that have not yet been found proven. The registrant is able to continue working within the parameters set by the condition while the order is in place.

1) The Registrant must not work in child protection;

2) The Registrant must not undertake a role involving managerial or supervisory responsibilities;

3) The Registrant can only work in a role where her employer is able and agrees to ensure that she receives fortnightly supervision. Reports of such supervision sessions must be provided to the Care Council for Wales by the employer on a monthly basis. The report should include all aspects of the Registrant’s practice, including record keeping, her interaction with service-users, meeting of deadlines and case load management.
