Annual Review and Statutory Annual Accounts
As soon as possible after the end of each financial year the Care Council prepares accounts in accordance with the Accounts Direction issued by Welsh Ministers. As soon as the audit of accounts is complete the Care Council submits to the Auditor General for Wales (AGW) the signed accounts together with a letter of representation. The AGW then lays the audited accounts before the Welsh Government as required by the Care Standards Act 2000.
