Social Care Careers in Wales

In various ways, Social Care enables children, adults or older people with many different needs to live safe and independent lives. That means independence either in their own homes, residential homes or day centres.

The information contained in this website was originally designed by the Care Council for Wales in conjunction with Social Services Inspectorate for Wales, as a result of recommendations made by the Task and Finish Group which reported on the Workforce Issues in Social Care. The aim of the website is to give you an insight into the career opportunities existing in Wales for care workers…a career that is stimulating, rewarding, diverse and challenging.
