Learning Disability Workforce
A project to identify the development needs of the learning disability workforce in Wales has been undertaken by the Care Council. The work involved researching existing strategies and plans to identify key themes and areas for further development.
A Summary of Workforce Strategies and Plans has been produced. The next stage is to develop an action plan to build on this work.
An important element of this work is engaging with those working with people with a learning disability and service users and carers.
