Regional Social Care Partnerships
There are four Regional Social Care Partnerships sponsored by the Care Council.
Clare Hughes in North Wales
Jane Guest in Mid Wales
Annie O'Reilly in South West Wales
Penny Copner in South East Wales
The work of the Partnerships is to contribute at a regional level to ensure that a suitable workforce is available, and workforce planning in order to ensure quality services for the future.
Current priorities and activities
The priorities for this year in the Partnerships has been to take forward the review of the partnerships undertaken in 2008/9. There has since been very close working between the Partnerships and the Council and a number of projects are now underway
The Care Ambassador programme has been underway for some time (Link to Newsletter article)
There are several exciting projects coming up focusing on the Confidence in Care campaign, and on improving and extending employer engagement. More details can be accessed at the partnerships websites, and this website will also keep you up to date.
