Periodic Reviews of Social Work Degrees
To ensure continued high standards in social work education, the Care Council is undertaking comprehensive reviews of all social work degree courses in Wales. These examine the extent to which courses are meeting the rules and requirements of the Care Council and the Welsh Assembly Government. Three of the eight degree courses in Wales have already been reviewed and the other five will be completed by the end of March next year.
Reports of each individual review and an overall summary will be published on the Care Council website. The findings will inform a review of the rules and requirements that apply to the degree courses.
