National Social Work Education Student Forum

Forum 2011

The second National Social Work Student Forum will be held on Wednesday 9 November, 11am – 3.30pm at the Catrin Finch Conference Centre, Mold Road,
Wrexham, LL11 2AW

This is a unique opportunity for social work students from right across Wales to meet with the Care Council and contribute to new developments.

The agenda will include:

  • Discussions about social work education
  • Contributing views on:

o the proposed Continuing Professional Education and Learning (CPEL) Framework for social workers;
o new guidance on positive use of social media.

Please note, when allocating places, the Care Council will work with universities to agree attendance, including fair representation from different universities and year groups.
