Information and news for early years and childcare workers

Early Years and Childcare Worker

Early years and childcare workers provide specialist care for children. They’re involved in planning and supervising activities and checking the development of children in their care.

They can be responsible for several children in a nursery, or they may run out-ofschool clubs, or work as foster carers.
