Mobile Knowledge Learning Solutions Information Event Back
Location: he Botanical Garden of Wales, LLanarthne, Carmarthenshire
Organisation: Social Care in Partnership Mid Wales
The care sector has long recognised the problem of training a large dispersed workforce and many providers struggle to offer the appropriate training to their staff because of the challenges of travelling to training locations and back-fill staffing costs. Come and find out more about innovative new ways of delivering underpinning knowledge and information to your staff by utilising some of the new technologies. This is still very new in Wales but Scotland - also a very rural country - has been leading the way on products and delivery mechanisms.
You are warmly invited to come along to an afternoon tea at the National Botanical Gardens of Wales to find out what impact these new developments could mean for your training budget and developing good practice in your workforce.
The programme will showcase the latest technologies to bring learning into the workplace and making sector specific learning more accessible to those that need it, when they need it.
The proposed programme:
1.45 p.m. Registration and Refreshments
2.00 p.m. Keith Quinn, Scottish Social Services Council -
Developments in Scotland and the opportunities for Wales, Question and Answer Session.
3.30 p.m. Afternoon Tea and networking Groups
4.30 p.m. Summary and close
