Delivering Dignity Back

Organisation: Age Cymru, the Older People's Commissioner for Wales and the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales
On International Day of Older Persons - 1 October 2012, Age Cymru, the Older People's Commissioner for Wales and the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales will hold a joint conference, Delivering Dignity.
This free, one-day conference will present plenary and workshop sessions to examine and discuss how dignity can be delivered to older people in health and social care settings.
Older people, front-line staff, service commissioners and leading voices on dignity will be brought together to stimulate an interactive, practically-focused debate on how best to deliver dignity.
Conference themes include:
- What dignity means to older people
- Older people's right to dignity
- Delivering dignity in a practical context
