New Practice Guidance for Early Years Managers
A new publication, First Year as a Manager: Practice Guidance, has been launched by the Care Council.
It aims to help develop and enhance the knowledge and skills of newly appointed early years managers.

New online services for applicants, registrants and employers
The Care Council has launched new online services for those currently registered, those applying for registration and social care employers. The services are available by choosing the MyCareCouncil option on this website. In trials, users have said the new system is 'extremely useful' and 'very accessible; easy-to-use and very secure'.

Governance framework for the health and social care support worker roles
The Care Council worked jointly with the National Leadership and Innovation Agency for Healthcare (NLIAH) to develop a governance framework for the health and social care support worker roles (HSCSW).

We’ve just published a new easy read Code of Practice which is available to download or in hard copy format. The Code was developed by VoiceAbility who worked with a learning disabilities easy-read translation team.
