Substance Misuse and Domestic Abuse Conference 15 March 2012

The majority of service users who have domestic abuse and substance misuse problems are primarily using either substance misuse agencies or domestic abuse agencies and not receiving appropriate intervention for 'the other' issue; There is a need for improved integrated work between substance misuse and domestic abuse agencies. This conference seeks to raise the profile of this agenda, identify good practice and inform practitioners.

Residential Child Care – A Positive Choice 26 April 2012

The Care Council for Wales, in partnership with Care Forum Wales, is hosting a conference on residential child care at the end of April. This national event, the first of its kind, will focus on residential child care in Wales and provide an opportunity to reflect on the distance travelled since the Waterhouse Inquiry in 1999.
