The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is the new regulated framework for recognising and accrediting qualifications across all sectors. This is a government initiative across Wales, England and Northern Ireland and presents an exciting opportunity to develop qualifications that meet the rapidly changing needs of the Social Care Workforce.
We have an information event in Wales in September to raise awareness of the new qualifications.
Tuesday, 21st July 2009 at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff
Thursday 23rd July 2009 at Venue Cymru, Llandudno
Wednesday, 16th September 2009 at Gregynog Hall, Newtown, mid Wales
The events will run from 10.30am until 3.30pm.
The morning will focus on the principles of the Qualification and Credit Framework, our plans to redevelop qualifications and what this will mean to the sector.
The afternoon will be a workshop that will focus on the more technical aspects of the new qualifications - structure, assessment strategies etc.
