Learning Disability Wales Annual Conference - 'Feel Good, Stay Well'

This year's annual conference will be looking at health and well-being for children and adults with learning disabilities; exploring services, initiatives and projects available; highlighting examples of good practice in promoting health and well-being and raising individual's concerns.
The conference will inspire and equip individuals to make a positive change to their lives for the better. It will also highlight the issues faced by individuals with learning disabilities to practitioners and service providers.
Aims of the Conference
- To provide opportunities for people with learning disabilities to consider what is important to them in relation to their health and well being
- Raise awareness of the range of initiatives and projects, available & desired, to increase health and well being of people with learning disabilities
- Inspire and equip people with learning disabilities, practitioners and service providers to make positive changes in their lives and the services they provide.
Format of conference
This conference will include key note speakers, workshops and performance art. In all aspects of the conference accessibility for people with learning disabilities will be paramount.
