Building on the success of the National Social Services Conference in Wales 2009, ADSS Cymru and the WLGA are pleased to host the National Social Services Conference 2010.
The 2010 conference, entitled 'Transforming Services in Challenging Times' will focus on the political and professional interface linked to social services, and the vision for adult social care, children's services, and partnership working to help improve services for individual service users, their families, carers and their communities.
This event is aimed at directors of social services, Welsh Assembly Members, Welsh Assembly Government officers, council members, heads of service, and representatives from the independent, voluntary, community and private sectors. The conference will provide opportunities for engaging debate and innovative learning, as well as networking and social events.
This event is relevant to all those involved in the social care sector and plenary, workshop and exhibition events reflect the range of interests brought by delegates from an equally wide range of backgrounds.
