Social Care Week is an opportunity to focus on the workers who provide vital social care services that support more than 150,000 people every day here in Wales. Around 88,000 social workers and social care workers provide these services, but this work often goes unnoticed. The work required to support individuals and families with a variety of needs in Wales relies on a professional, safe and skilled workforce worthy of recognition!
During Social Care Week, a broad range of events will be taking place throughout Wales to raise the profile of the sector and those working in it, and details of events will be posted here.
