Responding to increased interest in Accolades Winners and the success of the 2007 Best Practice Sharing Workshops, the Care Council was very pleased to host the 2009/10 Accolades Best Practice Sharing Events.

These unique events offered an opportunity to learn more about the projects that impressed the judges and received Accolades for their excellent work and their contribution to improving learning and development in the social care sector in Wales. Delegates that attended these events enjoyed the opportunity to share good practice and were inspired by the work taking place within the sector.

A series of four events took place, each with its own over-arching theme, which are detailed below. Small interactive workshops delivered by the winners themselves formed part of the programme, giving delegates the opportunity to learn more about specific projects of interest. All events were free and open to anyone with an interest in training and development within the social care sector.
