Social Care Accolades
A time to shine…
What are the Social Care Accolades?
The Social Care Accolades are a national showcase for excellence and recognise and celebrate good practice in the social care sector across the whole of Wales.
Accolades are awarded to teams, groups or organisations who have focussed their investment in learning and development to meet the aims of the Welsh Assembly Government’s ten year strategy for social services, Fulfilled Lives, Supportive Communities. The Accolades focus on the positive image of the social care sector.
Winning an Accolade is recognition of achievement and showcases best practice. They provide an opportunity to learn from others about improving outcomes for service users and carers.
Who can enter the Social Care Accolades?
The Social Care Accolades are open to all teams, groups or organisations across the whole social care sector in Wales; private, voluntary or statutory agencies. Services can be residential or community-based, large or small; working with children or adults.
Good practice examples for the Accolades are welcomed from all parts of the sector.
"A real opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements of teams, groups or organisations in learning and development"
The Social Care Accolades are developed and delivered by the Care Council in partnership with another six organisations representing the whole of the social care sector in Wales. Details about each partner can be found under the resource box to the right, and links to their websites on the link below.
