The Care Council produce podcasts on a range of social care topics. Podcasts are online audio clips you can download to your computer or MP3 player. They are a convenient and effective way of sharing information, as you can listen to them at any time, wherever you are.

Social Care Manager Consultation

The Social Care Manager builds on the Code of Practice for Social Care Workers and aims to describe what is expected of Social Care Managers. It is intended as a practical tool, aiding managers in their practice and contributing to good outcomes for service users. It provides the basis on which more detailed guidance can be developed in the future.

These guides aim to support managers and senior practitioners. Supervising Well and Appraising Well - provides a step by step guidance for everyone responsible for carrying out supervision and appraisal with early years and childcare practitioners.
