Substance Misuse
The Drug and Alcohol NOS (DANOS) can be used by the substance misuse sector in Wales for a variety of purposes at individual, team and organisational level. They are useful to practitioners, managers and employers on workforce development issues.
DANOS are a set of standards which specify the knowledge and performance / competencies that workers in the Drugs and Alcohol field should demonstrate in their jobs.
DANOS has three key areas:
- Service delivery
- Management of Services
- Commissioning Services
