How to request voluntary removal from the Register

If you are no longer working in social care and wish to be removed from the Register please complete the following request for voluntary removal form and send it to the Care Council for Wales.

We will then contact your employer or previous employer for confirmation that you no longer work in social care or no longer need to be registered before taking steps to remove you. You can re-apply to register if you decide to return to social care at any time.

Please note that we will not be processing voluntary removal forms between 23 January and 21 February due to temporary changes to our registration processes.

How to return to the Register

To return to the Register after removal an applicant must complete an initial application form, pay the fee and provide evidence of post-registration training and learning (PRTL). Please contact the Registration team for an application pack.
