Information about the Social Work bursary for new applicants in 2013/14.

In order to be eligible for the bursary, applicants must:

The number of bursaries available for new students starting on a Social Work degree or Masters degree in 2013/14 is 227.

The funding available

To students studying on a Social Work degree

£2,500 non-income assessed bursary per year (up to three years); and

Practice Learning Opportunity Allowance of £7.50 per practice learning opportunity day.

To students studying on a Masters degree in Social Work

£6,640 non-income assessed bursary per year (up to two years), which includes a contribution of £3,390 towards tuition fees; and

Practice Learning Opportunity Allowance of £7.50 per practice learning opportunity day.
